day 5.... bird (and some Super Moon stuff, too)

The theme today was 'bird'.

OK.  Be creative with me on this one....   there is a pelican on one of those lights!   My other plan fell through, so that pelican saved me.

I like that first shot better, but this one shows you the pelican better.

It was pretty cloudy for the Super Moon.  A photo friend of mine was down at the pier, too.  Maybe she got something a little better than I did.  It sure was a beautiful night to be out there on the beach, though.

This is the moon when it first became visible.  We were there in plenty of time to see it rise from the ocean, but there were just too many clouds.

 This is my funkiest shot.  I forgot I had the shutter set for a 30 second exposure and moved the tripod.
