stop animation by Carl

Here are a couple pictures of Carl and the librarian making this stop animation movie together.  Gretchen was at Brownies.  She will get to make a movie of her own on May 14th.

The ipad and software were very cool and so much fun to use!

 See how you can see a ghosting of the green pig?  You take a picture, then it shows that ghost view so you know how far to move it before the next picture.  Really cool.

We didn't know that kid in the red shirt, but he kept sticking his hand behind the ipad and trying to move Carl's stuff.  His mom was there at first, but then left him.  the librarian was very polite, telling him that Carl signed up for this class over a month ago... blah blah blah.... finally, I said, "You need to go find your mom."  The librarian told her that this was Carl's time slot and if her son was over 8 years old, he could sign up for a spot of his own.  "Well, where is the sign up list?" she snapped back.....   and the librarian gave her the next available spot ...  in June.  This is a cool class and the sign ups are hard to come by.  I am tempted to show up at his time and have Carl "help" him out with his movie.  I actually did ask him to move out of the way for me to take a couple pictures at one point.  What bugged me most was how his mother stood there for a while, then left the room and left him there, already seeing he was clearly barging into Carl's personal space and picking up Carl's things.  Luckily, there was that ghost image so we knew where to move the truck back to.
