best friends

Earlier today, Lew was mowing and the kids were out back playing. I went inside for a bit and when I came back out, Lew was done. The kids were in the sandbox together and didn't see me. I happened to have the camera with me (big shocker, eh?) and snapped a couple shots after overhearing this:


Gretchen: "Carl, you know, you are my best friend. We should stay together. We're only 3, but we are going to have a birthday. Then we'll be 4."
