For the second year in a row, this is Carl's absolute favorite ride. (you will find him riding it in this post) If you ask him about Hoffman's, he will say "I like to drive the blue bus". I'm not sure how I feel about it saying 'special' on the front. But, man, isn't he cute sitting there smiling??

Now we're at the playground at the elementary school. We blew Gretchen's mind talking about family history. Lew said, "This is the school that Mommy & Daddy went to when they were kids." And I topped that, "This is the school where Grammie and Grampie met when they went to kindergarten together!" All she could say was, "Wow!"

Next time she tried this, she fell and scratched her chin and knee. She wasn't too happy after that, but we stayed a bit longer.
We went to the Butterfly House with Grandma. It is put on by a local middle school. Students acted as tour guides and craft partners. Carl cried the whole time because he wanted to be at Grandma's house. But, he did enjoy making a yellow caterpillar. Gretchen enjoyed the whole experience.

Now, the firemen's fair.
She got to pick 2 prizes for catching fish! A white necklace and a Tinkerbell card game! 
This is Indian Ladder farms. We sat and had cider and doughnuts. Carl did try one, then said, "No thank you." (Fool!) Gretchen loved them!!!
They have a small petting zoo area. Last year, no one would feed any animals, but this year, Carl was having fun with it.
You have to look closely, but check out how much they have grown since last year!
