This week they are learning about the letter R. They follow the Handwriting Without Tears program, so they are not learning A, B, C, D, E... they are learning in an order that deals with straight lines and curves for learning letters.

So, we always try to find things to wear that start with the letter of the week. Each morning, the kids can suggest words for the teacher to write on the chart of words for the week. Today, Carl will be suggesting "robot" and Gretchen will add "rabbit".

And yes, it is mid February and they are going to school sans coats. Gretchen will most likely be too warm in that sweater, too. But isn't it really cute? Ah - ebay! It allows me to feed my Hartstrings habit!
