our June NY vacation, 6.13-15

I never wrote about our trip north in June. (edit: I decided to move these posts into June so they would be where they belong.)

We picked that time to go home to visit because our niece, Stephanie was getting married. So, we decided to come a full week early and stay a few days after that wedding.

Let me just narrate a bunch of photos instead of going on and on and then trying to match things up...

Carl (3.5) and Katy (6.25) were quite a pair on the trampoline. They would play a kind of copy cat game with jumping and sounds. Or, they'd chant "jump and jump and jump and sit!"

It was Mom's birthday, so Claire and Gretchen decorated her cake...

Carl helped add the candles....
and Katy did a little last minute decorating, too...Joe was there to help Grammie blow out the candles and make a wish...

We attempted our first family classic pose... The Line-Up. It ended up more like a conga line. Joe wouldn't be first, but having the little ones in front wasn't working either.
